These are extraordinary times that we live in and I want to take this opportunity to share with you the steps we are taking as a company to ensure as best as we can the health and safety of our clients and our Jawitz Properties family.
Within our offices and amongst our staff, we have implemented strict internal office protocols. These include more frequent cleaning, social distancing, working from home and frequent hand sanitisation in our office environments. In addition, we are following all rules relating to the isolation of our own staff members in the event that this is required.
All of our support services including marketing, conveyancing, property management and OOBA home loans will continue.
We are as of today instituting clear and implementable rules for the health and safety of you, our client. These rules specifically relate to showdays and client viewings and are for the benefit and health of all our clients - Sellers, Buyers, Lessees and Lessors.
The rules will be communicated to all our clients before each showday and client viewing and are designed to ensure hygiene upon entering a property and to ensure there is no 'touching' or any other interaction during a showday or viewing. If any client refuses to adhere to these protocols, the showday or viewing will be cancelled.
The above specific protocols have been implemented
We will continue to monitor the situation and change or update our protocols as required.
Even with these protocols, we live in uncertain times and as such, we will always be guided by your wishes and most importantly with your health and safety in mind. If you do not want to have showdays, we will absolutely respect your wishes and will continue to market your home using all the digital tools we have available.
Lastly, it is a time in our country, in our communities, in our companies and in our homes that we should be calm, considerate and supportive of each other. It is our obligation and responsibility as South Africans to do everything in our power to support our President in helping to "flatten the curve" and restrict the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
